If there’s one thing that is necessary to have through the month of December its hot chocolate. I don’t know why but come December 1st I am all about that delicious hot cocoa life. Over the years I’ve collected my favourite garnishes to take it to the next level. Today, I’m breaking down my no-fuss hot cocoa station below:
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Hot cocoa mix: there’s the fancy stuff from places like Williams Sonoma (delish but requires more work) but the little packets of Carnation do the trick.
Garnishes & candy: since this is a Christmas treat I like to grab traditional favourites like marshmallows and peppermint candy canes. To take it over the top, garnishes like crushed candy cane, cinnamon sticks, hazelnut wafers or chocolate marshmallow stir sticks and equally as delicious as they are cute to display.
Tray: to keep it all organized and in one place. We keep ours in the kitchen but move it to the couch/coffee table when it’s movie time.
