With the hustle and bustle of the holiday season it’s especially easy to take your eyes and sight for granted until we notice a change in our vision. The scary part is that eye problems are usually silent, but a routine eye exam can help detect signs of serious health conditions. Did you know that as adults we are supposed to be getting a regular eye exam at least once every other year? Eye exams can be great detectors of issues like:
- Diabetic retinopathy
- Age-related macular degeneration (AMD)
- Cancer or other serious conditions
Image Optometry is all about providing affordable, total eye care under one roof, which is why I’ve teamed up with them (Image Optometry is also the official eye doctor for the Canucks, the BC Lions and Vancouver Whitecaps) to share a holiday promotion they have going on right now.
If you and a friend or family member come in to both get an eye exam before December 31st you will not only get a pair of glasses plus your exam (for the low price of $89.95) but you will ALSO receive two tickets to a Canucks game of your choice! Here is a list of game choices:
Jan 4th – Canucks vs Coyotes
Jan 15th – Canucks vs Devils
Jan 17th – Canucks vs Predators
Feb 2nd – Canucks vs Sharks
Feb 4th – Canucks vs Wild
Feb 19th – Canucks vs Flyers
March 9th – Canucks vs Islanders
March 16th – Canucks vs Stars
I’m sure we all get a dentist checkup annually, so why should our eyes be any different? Many conditions are much easier to treat when they are caught early on so it’s especially important to be proactive about getting regular eye exams to asses any issues. You can book an eye exam here.
