Summer has got to be one of my favourite seasons of the year (a close second behind fall).

Not only is it my birthday month, but in August we tend to spend a fair amount of time on the gulf islands. Lots of hot days out on the boat & cool nights around the fire.

I get nostalgic about how I use to spend summers growing up, so I decided to make an upgraded list for the memory bank:

  1. pick fresh berries
  2. go for fish + chips
  3. have a picnic at the beach
  4. date night at the drive-in movies
  5. make s’mores
  6. bike the seawall
  7. jar my own dill pickles
  8. celebrate 5 years of marriage
  9. take husband paddle boarding
  10. visit a winery

What’s on your list this summer??

What a great ( and totally accomplishable ) list! I feel like with the pandemic all of our summer to do lists have been pared down. Ontario has been opening up a little slower than BC, but I’d love to get a winery visit in too!
