This summer we’ve been going back and forth to our cabin on the Gulf Islands (a short 1 hour ferry ride from Vancouver) as much as we can to take advantage of what’s left of the summer season. We love being on the island because we are both such lovers of being outdoors and in nature, especially now with Xavi. We have the best time hiking trails, boating and laying out on the beach for the day to soak up the sun. If you’ve been a reader for a while you may know that skincare and more specifically sun protection is extremely important to me (no idea what I’m talking about read this post) so when I learned that eos products now carry a range of balms that include SPF I was like finally! I’m honestly surprised at how long it took for a company to create an SPF lip balm.
Whether we’re away or at home, I’m constantly out with my dog on walks or at the beach and (from experience) taking a lip balm usually ends in a gross, melted mess at the bottom of my bag. The new eos Active Protection SPF lip balms are made using an ultra hydrating shea butter and jojoba oil formula, enriched with only the highest quality ingredients (gluten-free, paraben-free, petroleum-free, free of mineral oil & hypoallergenic) AND won’t melt! You can choose your level of protection with either the Lemon Twist in SPF 15 or Fresh Grapefruit in SPF 30.
If there’s one summer essential you need it’s eos Active Protection lip balm ($3.99CAD), now available in Canada at most retailers including Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart & London Drugs.
